![]() This individual works in conjunction with the Human Services Manager and Community Outreach Workers to help meet community needs, collaborate, and assist with programs, and administer community resources. In consultation and/or collaboration with Health and Human Services Department staff, the Program Coordinator develops, implements, and evaluates new programs, meets with youth advisors, consults with other like agencies, helps research, and write grants, serves on appropriate local, state, and regional committees, provides case management for youth and families with Human Services Outreach program needs, and performs other Human Services Department responsibilities as assigned. SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under the general direction of the Director of Health or designee, the Program Coordinator will apply his/her knowledge and experience to work directly with youth and families and key community-based agencies in the City of Milford Department of Human Services. To be a successful outreach coordinator, you should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
